About

Decidedly Nash is the freelance event management business of Amy Nash, an experienced Event & Conference Manager specialising in the planning and operational delivery of live events.

Since launching Decidedly Nash, I've worked with leading event organisers, agencies and brands on projects across the UK, Europe, Africa and the US - from major international conferences and exhibitions to corporate events, competitions and brand experiences.

I can slot into an established team, take ownership of a particular workstream or lead a project from planning through to delivery. Either way, my approach is the same: get up to speed quickly, keep things organised, spot problems before they become problems and make sure the job gets done.

Before going freelance, I spent more than 15 years working across the events industry, managing events on five continents and leading everything from international conferences and exhibitions to one of the UK's largest consumer festivals.

That experience means I'm comfortable with complicated events, multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines and the inevitable last-minute changes that come with live delivery.

And when the doors open? I'm very much an onsite, sleeves-rolled-up kind of event manager.

  • Operational delivery of key event features, networking and delegate spaces for a major international energy forum welcoming more than 2,500 attendees.

  • Conference and feature operations for one of the world's largest gaming industry events, covering content stages, exhibitor features and onsite delivery.

  • Operational delivery of an invite-only executive conference, including venue operations, registration, sponsor fulfilment, delegate experience and VIP hospitality.

  • Operational support for the organisation's flagship international student engineering competition, covering accommodation, volunteer logistics, catering and onsite delivery

  • Stepped into the event team at short notice to support onsite conference operations and successful delivery for delegates and sponsors.

  • Operational support for the London edition of Nike's large-scale women's night-running event series.

Previous Experience

Before launching Decidedly Nash, my career included leading a national portfolio of 150+ events for the Campaign for Real Ale, delivering international conferences and exhibitions across five continents for PennWell Corporation and creating luxury travel experiences across Europe for Abercrombie & Kent.
